Aircraft Dispatcher Certification

Aircraft Dispatcher Certification is now available at the Prescott campus. This program is approved as an approved dispatcher curriculum under part 65 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR 65). Dispatcher preparation is based on the successful completion of the required courses and the applicable prerequisites, and authorization by the instructor for AS410 to sit for the Aircraft Dispatcher practical examination. Students will be required to take courses in Instrument Pilot Operations, Aeronautics, Navigation, Meteorology, and Dispatch Operations. Helicopter Flight

helicopter flightThe helicopter industry is currently experiencing a pilot shortage. Over the last several years, the senior pilots left over from the Vietnam era are retiring. This is leaving a pilot shortfall throughout the helicopter industry, which beckons as there is a major shortage of pilots in an industry that is expected to grow as much as 60% in the next ten years. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has initiated a Helicopter Flight program at their Prescott, Arizona campus. Success rates of students graduating from this program run very high. Summer Flight Exploration Program

Looking for an exhilarating experience? Do you have an interest in FLYING? Prescott campus flight programs offer high school students (ages 14-18) an extensive introduction to the aviation industry. Participants will receive ground training in our facilities, have the opportunity to operate our new Flight Training Device Single C-172 L6 Simulator, and FLY a C-172S aircraft from our new fleet.
