Undergraduate Applicant Information

View what you'll need to complete the undergraduate application process, depending on what type of student you are. To view the checklist, click its title on the left.

First Time College Students

You are a first year applicant if you have not yet graduated from high school, including students who are dual enrolled in college or university courses, in the International Baccalaureate program, taking Advanced Placement (AP) or CLEP courses.

Transfer Students

If you have attended another college or university since graduating from high school and have earned credit, you are considered a transfer applicant. If you have military experience and have earned college credit or equivalency, you will be considered a transfer applicant.

International Students

You are an international applicant if you are not a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Visit the International Admissions site for all necessary information about applying.

First Time Non-Traditional

Embry-Riddle acknowledges that full-time employment experiences often provide the motivation and discipline to be a successful student in college. If a students academic career has been interrupted for a minimum of three years due to personal or financial reasons, the care of dependents, or serving time in the U.S. military, Embry-Riddle would consider the student a nontraditional applicant.

Returning Students

A student whose attendance at the University is interrupted is required to apply for readmission. You are a returning student if you have enrolled at another institution without prior written approval, fail to enroll in at least one Embry-Riddle course within two calendar year period, or have been suspended from the University. To be readmitted, file a new application for admission with the Director of Admissions.
